About This Technique
Ouchi Gaeshi (大内返), or the major inner counter, is a foot technique (ashi-waza) in Judo designed specifically as a counter-attack (kaeshi-waza) against an opponent's Ouchi Gari (major inner reap). It turns the attacker's forward entry against them by unhooking from their reap and driving them backward onto the mat.
