About This Technique
Osoto Guruma (大外車), or the major outer wheel, is a foot technique (ashi-waza) in Judo. It is an explosive variation of Osoto Gari where, instead of reaping a single leg, you extend your leg horizontally across the back of both of the opponent's legs at knee level, using it as a wheeling axis to send them falling backward onto the mat.
