About This Technique
Uchimata Sukashi (内股すかし), or the inner thigh slip / void throw, is a hand technique (te-waza) in Judo designed specifically as a counter-throw (kaeshi-waza) against an opponent attempting an Uchi Mata (inner thigh throw). It is considered one of the purest demonstrations of Seiryoku Zenyo (maximum efficiency with minimum effort), relying on precise timing and agility rather than raw strength.
