About This Technique
Tsukkomi Jime (突込絞), or the thrust choke (thrusting strangle), is a fundamental strangulation technique (shime-waza) in Judo. It uses a single-hand lapel grip combined with a forward, thrusting fist or wrist movement directly into the side of the opponent's neck while the other hand anchors the opposite lapel.
