Ude-hishigi-sankaku-gatame
腕挫三角固Triangular armbar
About This Technique
Ude-Hishigi-Sankaku-Gatame (腕挫三角固), or the Triangular armbar, is a joint lock (kansetsu-waza) where the attacker secures the opponent's neck and one arm inside a triangular figure-four configuration using their legs. From this dominant position, the attacker extends the trapped arm against their hips or legs to exert pressure directly on the elbow joint and force a submission.
