About This Technique

Ude Garami (腕絡), or the arm entanglement (commonly known in general grappling as the Kimura or keylock), is a fundamental joint-locking technique (kansetsu-waza) in Judo. It uses a figure-four arm grip to apply rotational torque to the opponent's shoulder and elbow joint to force a submission.
