About This Technique

Hane Makikomi (跳巻込), or the springing wrap-around throw, is a side sacrifice technique (yoko-sutemi-waza) in Judo. It combines the bent-knee leg placement of Hane Goshi with a full-body winding sacrifice motion (makikomi), pinning the opponent's arm against your body and rolling over them to drive them onto their back.
