Budokan MONS & U11s Tournament #1

The 2026 Budokan MONSter and Under 11 Tournament #1 takes place on Sunday, 8th March 2026, at the Budokan Judo Club located in the Castle Hill Showground. Entry is available strictly on the day with cash only, costing $30 per player, while spectators can attend for free. Rather than using preset weight classes, athletes will be grouped into divisions based on their closest weight after weigh-ins.

The tournament is split into two age categories with specific weigh-in times and belt eligibility. The MONS division is for children born between 2018 and 2020, with weigh-ins running from 9:00 am to 9:30 am. The Under 11 division is for children born in 2016 or 2017, with weigh-ins scheduled from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.

All competitors must wear a white judogi to participate. The event will also feature a barbecue, canteen, raffle, and special awards presented at the end of the day, including Best Spirit, Best Ne-Waza, Best Throw, and Player of the Day.
