Isshindokan Judo Club invites Mons, Junior Boys / Girls, Senior Boys / Girls, Cadets, Junior Men / Women and Seniors Men / Women to compete in the Isshindokan judo Club Competition. All Judokas Welcome, catering to novice and experienced players. Adaptive players welcome.

Entry Dates / Pricing

From 14/01/2026 until 6pm Saturday the 7th February - $25.00 per nomination

From 6.01pm Saturday the 7th February until end of advertised weigh in time for your age group 8th February - $50.00

Age Group Clarification

• Mons Boys / Girls - Born in 2018 to 2021 (Age 5, 6, 7, 8 this calendar year)
• Junior Boys / Girls - Born in 2015 to 2017 (Age 9, 10, 11 this calendar year)
• Senior Boys / Girls - Born in 2012 to 2014 (Age 12, 13, 14 this calendar year)
• Cadets Men / Women - Born 2009 to 2011 (Age 15, 16, 17 this calendar year)
• Junior Men / Women - Born 2006 to 2011 (Age 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 this calendar year)
• Senior Men / Women - Born 2011 or before (Age 15+ this calendar year)
• Veteran Men / Women - Born 1996 or before (Age 30+ this calendar year)

Weigh In Closing Times:

• 8.00AM - Mons and Junior Boys / Girls
• 9:30AM - Senior Boys & Girls, Adaptive
• 11:00AM - Cadets, Junior Men / Women & Veterans
• 11.30AM - Senior Men & Women

Weight changes will be allowed on the day.

Competition Starts:

Please warm up immediately after weigh-in. The competition will start as close as possible to 8.30 am.

Gi/Belt Requirements:

A white Judo gi (in good condition) and a Judo belt are compulsory.

All other gi's or belts will not be permitted.

Competition Area:

Isshindokan Judo Club Competition will be held on two mat areas or One mat area (6m x 6m) with a 2m throw-off area and 3m in between mats.

Novice Divisions:

Novice divisions will be available for white (rokkyu), yellow (gokyu) and orange (yonkyu) judoka where weight and participant numbers permit.

Green (sankyu) and above Judoka will not be permitted to enter novice divisions.

Food and Drink:

Food and drinks / Coffee will be available for purchase during the event. Gluten free options will be available.
