Located inside Flipz Academy at the Southport Park Shopping Centre, Kizuna Judo Gold Coast is built on the Japanese concept of kizuna, which signifies deep bonds, connections, and mutual support. The club offers structured programs tailored across age brackets, including dedicated sessions for young children (ages 5–8), juniors (ages 9–13), teens, adults, and specialized No-Gi grappling. Training focuses on fundamental breakfalls (ukemi), physical conditioning, self-defense, and character building in a safe, supportive environment.

Head Coach Toshi Nakamura stands out as an exceptional instructor through his rare combination of elite world-level competitive success and broad coaching experience. A IJF Vetearns World Judo Champion with a lifetime dedicated to the sport, Toshi possesses deep expertise in both traditional technique and modern European-style judo. Holding official coaching credentials, he has successfully developed judoka at every stage of the sport, guiding everyone from total beginners learning their first techniques to international competitors representing their countries at world championships.
