The Judo Way of Life

Located at Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, The Judo Way of Life Academy is a martial arts school founded and led by Head Coach David Groom, a former Great Britain international representative and 5th Dan black belt. Originally launched as an online educational platform and technique resource, the academy established its physical dojo in 2023 to offer structured judo instruction for students of all experience levels, starting from children as young as three through to adults.

The academy structures its youth programs into age-tailored groups focusing on foundational movement, balance, self-discipline, and character development alongside standard adult and fitness sessions. In addition to local dojo training, "The Judo Way of Life" maintains a dual presence as an educational hub, producing online technique libraries, instructional videos, and coaching resources designed to make judo accessible to a broader global audience.
