Marrara Judo Club

Established in 1984 following the construction of the Marrara Indoor Stadium in Darwin, Marrara Judo Club is one of the Northern Territory's longest-standing judo institutions. The club is led by an experienced coaching team—including Head Coach Bradley Fong and long-time coach Sue Gardiner - and provides structured training programs across all age brackets, from early childhood movement sessions ("Tiny Terrors" for ages 4–5) through to junior and adult classes.

The club balances traditional technique, discipline, and physical fitness with personal growth and community development. Alongside its focus on recreational judo and youth education, Marrara Judo Club has built a strong competitive track record over its four-decade history, producing numerous junior and senior national medalists as well as international tournament competitors.
