Budokan Judo Club

Located at the Castle Hill Showground in Sydney's Hills District, Budokan Judo Club is a non-profit club recognized for blending high-performance athlete development with a family-oriented community. Led by experienced husband-and-wife coaching team Rob and Kerrye Katz - both former international competitors and national team coaches—the club features a proven track record of elite instruction, having produced multiple Australian Olympians and national titleholders.

The club caters to all ages and skill levels through age-appropriate pathways, ranging from preschool introductory movement ("Dino Kids" for ages 3–4) up to junior, senior, and elite high-performance training. Alongside its competitive pathways, Budokan Judo Club places a strong emphasis on traditional judo values, inclusivity, and character building, welcoming recreational practitioners and adaptive athletes alike.
