Cairns Judo Club

Founded in 2020 by Mara, Sebastian, Xavier, and Francis, Cairns Judo Club was established to promote and safeguard traditional Kodokan Judo in Far North Queensland. Based in Parramatta Park, the club operates under the foundational philosophy "We Coach People, Not Judo," adhering to Jigoro Kano's core belief that judo's true purpose is character development, personal education, and positive social contribution.

The club provides structured programs across all age brackets and experience levels, ranging from Tiny Tots (focusing on fundamental movement, balance, and coordination) to junior and senior sessions for recreation or competition. A standout feature of the club is its focus on inclusion, featuring dedicated "No Limits" specialists who provide adaptive judo instruction for practitioners of all abilities.
